Recently I watched a talk from 2014
At 11.22 a book is recommended, a very nice book that you can find here.
The book uses LISP (or more precise Scheme), a language famous for its parenthesis. But it actually has no more of them than many other languages.
In the same talk there at 46:32 is pointed out that where normally you say
f ( x y )
But now you say
( f x y )
and so now you know LISP (in fact Scheme)
And an interesting site to try your LISP programs can be found at here
Why do you read all this?
Because I blogged about it to keep the link around somewhere.
